Being the first campus in Quebec, the building had to be adapted to this innovative educational approach, which prioritizes learning through play.
The renovation redeveloped the interior surfaces with a playful and colorful character to stimulate children’s creativity, while the new spatial arrangement encourages free movement and collaborative work.
Reorganizing all activities around a large, central practice space — an experimental laboratory for the young team of teachers — made it possible to integrate classrooms, administration offices, a cafeteria, and an early childhood center.
